Falcons had another good offensive outing, but the defence needs some improvement. They did pick it right up in the second half, and hopefully that's how they're going to play it from now on.
I think that the early season success of the defense had alot to do with the way our offence was staying on the field and keeping the D fresh, in addition to the participation of Abraham and Coleman making our rush fearsome and shutting down opposing teams quickly. Once our stars are healthy I think that the defense will cut down on points allowed, and the offense should maintain......since it's proven that if the other guys defense focuses too much on the run we'll hit 'em passing and if they focus on the pass they can't defend against Dunn, Norwood and Vick.
All in all I'm happy with the results so far, but our schedule doesn't get much easier from here on in and we need to get some more W's.
Oh....... FFFAAAALLLLLCCCOOOONNNNNNSSS!!!!!!!!! Johnson's gonna have to cut that Mohawk and cut back on the smacktalk...... (although to give it to him he had his arm around Hall after the game..)

Gasp! THE BROWNS WIN!
Final of 20-13 over the J-E-T-S. Shouldn't have been as close as it was, as the Browns dominated for 3 quarters, but that's the way it goes when you come in 1-5. Browns had about 130 yards rushing from Reuben Droughns, and an almost error-free game from Charlie Frye.
Game was decided on a 4th down late in the game, when Jets QB Chad Pennington ducked under a rushing Browns LB, and threw a perfet pass to TE Eric Carter, who made an incredible one-handed catch, but it was ruled incomplete as Brown's DB Brodney Poole knocked him out of bounds before Carter could get his feet inbounds.

My Saints lost (props to BWI), but I'm really glad Peyton SMOKED the Broncos once again in Denver. Oh, that's a beautiful thing!

My Chargers did well again, 38-24 win over St. Louis, LT got 240 all-purpose yards today with 3 TDs. The defense came through as well, with Merriman getting 3 sacks, and Marlon McCree returning a fumble 79 yards for a TD!
Now the Chargers are 5-2, which is why...

I'm right with you! With that loss, Denver is now 5-2, so the Chargers are tied in 1st!

For once the broncos lost and it wasn't Plummer's fault. Actually he had a pretty good game but I have to give props to Manning for bringing our D to it's knees.

Manning had all day long to pass, and just ate the Broncos other corner (not Champ) for lunch.

Turnovers did the Saints in.....2 INT's returned for touchdowns by the Ravens. Marques Colston continues to tear it up for my fantasy team (2 TD's, 130-odd receiving yards).....

Seattle played better then I thought they would have with so many key players out injured, but it wasn't quite enough.

My Texans succeeded in statitically dominating Tennesee, but unfortunately could not overcome 5 turnovers. Of course, the final score is all that matters.

As Falcon84 said, the Browns won!
The offense played very well, minor mistakes here and there...
I just can't wait till Cribbs scores his 1st NFL touchdown as a WR.
GO BROWNS!

29 Mke717spotter: Well it looks like they should be able to beat their record from last year of 4-12. Back to the game, good to see the Packers finally win one at home
