Hello,

According to "Les Echos", Air France and Alitalia would be in talks again. The Italian carrier would have made clear that were two choices for them: Swissair and Air France.
If they officially consider both airlines as equal condidates, the top management agrees that Air France would be a larger partner and their CDG would be more interesting for them, as they could keep their MXP as a true hub, whereas the proximity of ZRH would be a trouble.

The talks with Air France, although they would be though, would be progressing.
Air France would take a stake in Alitalia if they would ally.
