I have 3 Just Planes DVD and I like them a lot. I have heard some people saying that the ITVV's DVD's are better. What do you think. Thanks for your time.
Thanks,
Nick

ITVV's are better more technical, nearly all filming is in the cockpit with a few outside views, excellent views of landing.
My favourites are; 1. Virgin 744 EGLL-KSFO (2.5 hours)
2. Airtours A330 Manchester-sanford
3. G0 737 Stansted -Lisbon
4.Concorde (5 hours)
Id be amazed if you were disapointed, there top quality.
your pilots today on this 747 flight are captain oliver hardy and assisting will be FO stan laurel.Have a safe flight

Personally I prefer the DVD's from ITVV, like Justplanecrazy says there is more filming inside the cockpit.
The only thing I didn't like about the Airtours A330 DVD was at the start when you can hear some women trying to get her kid to sit down!
I have seen:
Airtours A330
VS 744
A320 Simulator
MP MD11
Inter European A320
Leisure 767
I think the Martinair MD11 is my fave (they even sent a free copy out when they realised a mistake had been made programming the DVD, so I have 2 )
I recommend you give them a go anyway

I think that I'm going to get ether Airtours Int. 757-200 or the Debonair BAe 146. Can you hear ATC and the pilots? Because ib the justplanes dvd you can't.
thanks,
Nick

Yes you can hear the ATC on the platinum programes.I'm not sure if you can hear them on all.
I have the 2 that you are thinking of getting Lastordu the 757 airtours isnt in the same class but the Debonair is good quality but i would recommend you start with one of the best.I.e the virgin 744 or airtours a330.If you start with the Airtours 757 you might think Itvv's programes are over rated.

Quoting Justplanecrazy (Reply 5): the captain gets a little upset with his F/O and ATC.
I might get it just to see that. Thanks for all the help.

I have the Go 737 STN-LIS-STN and it is awesome, much, much better than Just Planes, which are disappointing (I have Aer Arran and Cirrus). Even better it came free with 737-400 Greatest Aircraft fs2002 add-on. Highly recommended.

I have two of them - VS 742 LGW-MIA-LGW and GO STN-LIS-STN (got this free after chatting with ITVV's boss). They're good. One downside to them is that there very rarely seems to be any new ones.

Ok I just got the 744 one. I figure that it is the biggest and the best or at least it is now the 2nd biggest but still the best. So I went to with the best. What do you think?
Nick
PS When you buy one of there DVDs they have DVD DAL and DVD NTSC. What is the difference? I got NTSC because all of the other DVD that I have has that. And the 744 is the 2nd best, the 737 is the best.

I have the Cathay Pacific Boeing 777 and it is VERY good. A 10 for quality. It was the firt one I bought when I was 17 years old, when I was working in Saint Ives, Cornwall for three months (year 1996). Very well explained cockpit in the flight simulator in Hong Kong. Plus overpasses in Auckland, New Zealand. An exterior check is done with the captain. I recomend it to everyone.

Well, of course there are better ones. But just think of the technology they used then...also bearing in mind it was one of the first ones they did...also, they have more experiance now than before, and with better machines

Quoting Airbus340 (Reply 22): I heard of the Bea 146 of Debonair. Is it still for sale? I had the opportunity to fly them on real from Luton to Barcelona on 1996!
