Fsx Has Stopped Responding Error -- Fixed?

Hi,
I've had this error for years now and I have googled it, but there doesn't seem to be any fix for it, or is there? It seems random. I know it can mostly be triggered by quick view-changes, but nothing is more frustrating them doing a over-seas flight, coming down on final and seeing the hour glass turn and then seeing the "flight sim has encountered a problem and will now restart" message. I have installed the UIAutomationCore.dll (and it put in the FSX folder), but still no luck!

It's very difficult to say from the information you've given. I did a Google search on UIAutomationCore and got results for quite a range of problems associated with it.

For example, if you're running Windows 7 you apparently need to use the Vista version of the DLL with FSX, as explained here:

Other than that, there could be any number of reasons.
